The symbolism of the jewelry

The jewelry's name is inspired by the Native American name "Sora" which means "the singing bird taking flight".

The feather holds strong spiritual symbolism in many cultures. It represents a connection between the spirit and the divine, a guide and protection on one's life path.
It also symbolizes freedom, the mind's detachment from all life's constraints, a limitless journey towards self-realization.

Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, it now conveys elegance.

Choosing your size

Before ordering your ankle chain, check the size that suits you.
The size depends on the morphology of your ankle and how you wish to wear it.
Measure the circumference of your ankle with a flexible tape measure, or if you don't have one, use a thread or a strip of paper and then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the measurement is taken at the bottom of the ankle at the malleolus (the "bony bump" you have on the side and outside of your foot).
The ankle chain size is generally 1 to 2 cm larger than the ankle circumference. It all depends on how you want to wear it, loose or tighter, but it should be able to turn easily around the ankle.
The ankle chain should not be too tight or too loose to avoid injuries, discomfort, or lack of elegance.
It is advisable to measure a well-fitting one that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of the new one you wish to order.

Use and care tips

To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:

• exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
• exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
• exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
• exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
• exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
• keeping it on while sleeping or performing manual activities.

To clean and polish the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water and a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
