The presentation of the jewel

The jewel is presented and sent in a MOONSTRA branded box.

A card is placed inside, which presents:

The symbolism of the jewel

The name of the jewel is inspired by the Hebrew name "Maty" which means "gift of God".

The circle symbolizes friendship, unity, harmony, serenity, the cycle of life, rebirth.
It represents protection against negative energies, trials, sorrows and pains of the past, present and future.

Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, it now conveys elegance.

Choosing your size

Before ordering your necklace, check the size that suits you.

The choice of necklace size depends on your neck size, your morphology, your silhouette, and how you wish to wear it over clothing.
The chain should not be too tight to avoid injuries, discomfort, and lack of elegance.

Measure your neck circumference using a flexible tape measure, or if you don't have one, use a string or a strip of paper, then measure its length with a ruler.

The chain sizes in the MOONSTRA shop range from 37 to 60 cm. These sizes do not include the length of the pendants that make up the necklaces. So remember to add the length of the pendant to get an idea of the complete length of the jewel on you.

Generally, but this depends on silhouettes and body types, chain sizes (without pendant) fall as follows:

• 40cm: the chain falls at the base of the neck.
• 45cm: the chain falls at the collarbone.
• 50cm: the chain falls below the collarbone.
• 55cm: the chain falls at the upper part of the chest.
• 60cm: the chain falls lower on the chest.

It is advisable to measure a well-fitting necklace you wear regularly, consisting of its chain and a pendant similar to the one you are interested in from the MOONSTRA shop, to help you choose the size of the new one you wish to order.

Usage and care tips

To preserve the jewel from premature aging and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:

• exposing it to fresh, salt or chlorinated water. Remove the jewel before showering or swimming.
• exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewel before going to the beach.
• exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewel.
• exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewel before doing household chores or DIY.
• exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewel before any intense physical activity.
• keeping it on for sleeping and manual activities.

To clean and shine the jewel, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water and a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
