The symbolism of the jewelry and the virtues of the stone in lithotherapy
The name of the jewelry is inspired by the Basque first name which comes from the word "Nahi" and means "desired". It simply symbolizes the love for a dear one.
Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Formerly a sign of wealth and power, it is now a symbol of elegance.
Cubic zirconia is a synthetic stone, not to be confused with natural zircon. Its hardness and sparkle are similar to those of diamond but at a lower cost.
Being an artificial stone, cubic zirconia has no lithotherapy virtues, but by adorning a piece of jewelry, it brings a lot of well-being and confidence to wear it due to its brilliance and elegance.
Lithotherapy is a pseudoscientific practice of unconventional medicine based on the belief in a power that certain stones would have, which, through their vibrations and energies, would help improve psychological and physical well-being or even cure diseases. However, there is no scientific evidence of these benefits. The practice of lithotherapy and the use of stones should therefore not replace medical advice.
Choosing your size
Before ordering your bracelet, check the size that suits you.
The size depends on the morphology of your wrist and how you want to wear it.
Measure your wrist circumference with a flexible tape measure, or if you don't have one, use a string or a strip of paper and then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the bracelet size is 1 to 2 cm more than the wrist circumference. It all depends on how you want to wear it, loose or tighter.
A bracelet should not be too tight or too loose to avoid injuries, discomfort, or lack of elegance.
It is advisable to measure a well-fitting bracelet that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of the new one you wish to order.
Use and care tips
To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:
- exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
- exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
- exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
- exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
- exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
- keeping it on while sleeping or for manual activities.
To clean and shine the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises gently rubbing it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water mixed with a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinsing it with clear water, and finally drying it with a soft cloth.
