The symbolism of the jewelry and the virtues of the stone in lithotherapy

The name of the jewel is inspired by the Latin given name "Gloria" which means "glory."

Pearls have been used for millennia in the creation of jewelry. They are associated with numerous traditions, cultures, and symbolisms. For example, they symbolize love among Hindus, perfection in Islam, purity in Christianity, and experience, wisdom, and power in various ancient and more contemporary cultures.
Whatever their symbolism and the reason for wearing them, today they are the emblem of natural beauty.

This white natural rock crystal bead is artificial.
Crystal represents wisdom, purity, transparency, and lucidity.
It is often associated with magic and mystery. Since prehistoric times, it has been used in the creation of tools. From antiquity, particularly with the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, through the Renaissance and to the present day, crystal has been employed in the making of jewelry, sculptures, and other art and decorative objects. Finally, it remains highly symbolic in our society as it marks fifteen years of marriage with crystal anniversaries.
Deposits are found all over the world. The most important are in Brazil, the Alps, the Himalayas, Arkansas in the United States, and Madagascar.

Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, today it conveys elegance.

Today in lithotherapy, rock crystal is a stone of light and purity. It is a very good receiver, emitter, and amplifier of energies. It helps to develop the properties and recharge the energies of the body and other stones, as well as to purify and cleanse negative energies from objects, spaces, or the aura. It facilitates energetic, emotional, and spiritual exchanges. It aids imagination, clairvoyance, concentration, and intuition. It helps to balance and stabilize emotions and body vibrations. Due to its properties, rock crystal can be associated with any chakra.

Lithotherapy is a pseudoscientific practice of unconventional medicine based on the belief in a power that certain stones are supposed to possess, which through their vibrations and energies would help improve psychic and physical well-being or even cure illnesses. However, there is no scientific proof of these benefits. The practice of lithotherapy and the use of stones should therefore not replace medical advice.

In lithotherapy, stones purify and recharge their energies by themselves in their natural state when in contact with the earth, water, or the light of the moon or sun.
Once removed from their environment, they lose their positive energies and must be purified and recharged.

Thus, you can purify them by rinsing them or immersing them for a few minutes in clear or demineralized water, by placing them in a singing bowl that you will make resonate, or by burning a sage stick or incense and exposing them to the smoke.

To recharge them, expose them all night to the light of the moon, preferably a full moon. You can also expose them to the sun, but avoid prolonged exposure (less than an hour) as the sun's rays can, in time, dull some stones. Therefore, prefer sunrise or sunset when the radiation is gentle.
You can also bury them at the full moon, leaving them underground for an entire lunar cycle or for several months, or arrange them for several hours or days on a cluster of Quartz.

    Choosing your size

Before ordering your bracelet, check your size.
The size depends on the morphology of your wrist and how you wish to wear it.
Measure the circumference of your wrist with a flexible tape measure, or if you do not have one, use a string or a strip of paper and then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the bracelet size is 1 to 2 cm larger than the wrist circumference. It all depends on how you want to wear it, loose or tighter.
A bracelet should not be too tight or too loose to avoid injuries, discomfort, or a lack of elegance.
It is advisable to measure a well-fitting bracelet that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of the new one you wish to order.

    Care and maintenance tips

To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its brilliance, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:

    • exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
    • exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
    • exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait until the products are absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
    • exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
    • exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
    • keeping it on for sleeping and manual activities.

To clean and shine the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water and a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
