The symbolism of the jewelry and the virtues of the stone in lithotherapy
The name of the jewelry is inspired by the Dahlia flower, originating from the warm regions of Mexico. Today, the Dahlia is a symbol of positive thoughts, seduction, fidelity, and love.
The two intertwined circles represent the union of two beings, an intense, eternal, and unconditional friendship or love.
Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, it now embodies elegance.
Cubic zirconia is a synthetic stone, not to be confused with natural zircon. Its hardness and brilliance are similar to those of diamond but at a lower cost.
Being an artificial stone, cubic zirconia has no lithotherapeutic virtues, but by adorning a piece of jewelry, it brings a lot of well-being and confidence to the wearer due to the sparkle and elegance it exudes.
Lithotherapy is a pseudoscientific practice of unconventional medicine based on the belief in a power that certain stones possess, which through their vibrations and energies, would help improve psychological and physical well-being, or even cure diseases. However, there is no scientific evidence of these benefits. The practice of lithotherapy and the use of stones should therefore not replace medical advice.
Choosing your size
Before ordering your bracelet, check the size that suits you.
The size depends on your wrist's morphology and how you wish to wear it.
Measure your wrist circumference with a flexible tape measure, or if you don't have one, use a string or a strip of paper and then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the bracelet size is 1 to 2 cm larger than the wrist circumference. It all depends on whether you want to wear it loose or tighter.
A bracelet should not be too tight or too loose to avoid injury, discomfort, or lack of elegance.
It is advisable to measure a well-fitting bracelet that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of the new one you wish to order.
Usage and care tips
To prevent premature aging of the jewelry and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:
- exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
- exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
- exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
- exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
- exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
- keeping it on while sleeping and for manual activities.
To clean and polish the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water mixed with a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water, and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
