The symbolism of the jewelry and the virtues of the stone in lithotherapy
The name of the jewelry is inspired by the Latin and Arabic given name "Lora," which means "compassion." Here, it symbolizes gentleness and appeasement.
Gold plating is a process rich in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, it now conveys elegance.
The stones here are synthetic and made of resin. Being artificial, they have no virtues in lithotherapy or particular meaning, but they create the image of budding pendants, ready to bloom into beautiful, vibrant flowers. The pendants thus bring a lot of well-being to wear due to the elegance they exude.
While the stones themselves have no particular meaning, in chromatography, their white color symbolizes cheerfulness, appeasement, freshness, purity, and innocence. It is associated with the seventh chakra or crown chakra.
The black color, meanwhile, symbolizes elegance, refinement, luxury, and wealth. It inspires simplicity and mystery. It is associated with the first chakra or root chakra.
Lithotherapy is a pseudoscientific practice of unconventional medicine based on the belief in a power that certain stones possess, which, through their vibrations and energies, are believed to help improve mental and physical well-being or even cure illnesses. However, there is no scientific evidence of these benefits. The practice of lithotherapy and the use of stones should therefore not replace medical advice.
Choosing your size
Before ordering your earrings (studs, posts, hoops, pendants…), check the size that suits you.
The size depends on the morphology of your ears, the position of your piercings, and the outfit you wish to wear.
An earring should not be too tight to avoid injury, discomfort, and a lack of elegance. It should be able to move slightly.
It is therefore advisable to measure well-fitting earrings that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of new ones you wish to order.
Use and care tips
To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:
- exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
- exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
- directly exposing it to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
- exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
- exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
- keeping it on while sleeping or for manual activities.
To clean and shine the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water mixed with a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water, and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
