The symbolism of the jewelry and the virtues of the stone in lithotherapy
The name of the jewelry is inspired by the English given name "Sunny," which conveys the warmth, brilliance, and power of the sun. Since antiquity, in many civilizations and cultures, the sun has been associated with power. It is also synonymous today with a radiant state of mind, joy, and well-being.
Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Formerly a sign of wealth and power, it now conveys elegance.
Cubic zirconia is a synthetic stone, not to be confused with zircon, which is a natural stone. Its hardness and brilliance are similar to those of diamond but at a lower cost.
Being an artificial stone, cubic zirconia has no lithotherapeutic virtues, but by adorning a piece of jewelry, it brings a lot of well-being and confidence to wear due to the brilliance and elegance it exudes.
Lithotherapy is a pseudoscientific practice of unconventional medicine based on the belief in a power that certain stones would have, which, through their vibrations and energies, would help improve psychological and physical well-being or even cure diseases. However, there is no scientific evidence of these benefits. The practice of lithotherapy and the use of stones should therefore not replace medical advice.
Choosing your size
Before ordering a ring, check the size that suits you.
To do this, if you do not have a ring sizer, you can measure the circumference of its location on your finger with a thread or a strip of paper, then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the ring size corresponds to the average of the size of the finger joint and its location on the finger. For example, if the finger circumference at the ring's location is 51mm and the joint circumference is 53mm, the average of 52mm will correspond to a ring size of 52.
Remember that each morphology is different, that it does not always follow this rule, and that finger size can change quickly with cold and heat.
You can use the following table to help you:
| Circumference in mm | Diameter in mm |
| 52 | 16.5 |
| 54 | 17.2 |
| 56 | 17.8 |
| 58 | 18.4 |
A ring should not be too tight to avoid the risk of injury, nor too loose to avoid the risk of loss.
It is therefore advisable to measure a well-fitting ring that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of your new ring.
Use and care tips
To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its brilliance, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:
- exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
- exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
- exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
- exposing it to oxidizing agents. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
- exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
- keeping it on while sleeping and for manual activities.
To clean and polish the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to rub it gently with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water mixed with a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water, and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
