The symbolism of the jewel

The name of the jewel is inspired by the given name "Mila", which has various meanings. Here, it refers to its Slavic origin, meaning "beloved by the people".

The circle symbolizes friendship, unity, harmony, serenity, the cycle of life, and rebirth.
It represents protection against negative energies, trials, sorrows, and pains from the past, present, and future.

Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used worldwide since antiquity. Once a sign of wealth and power, it is now a symbol of elegance.

Choosing your size

Before ordering a ring, check the size that suits you.

To do this, if you do not have a ring sizer, you can measure the circumference of its placement on your finger with a string or a strip of paper, then measure its length with a ruler.

Generally, the ring size corresponds to the average of the joint size of the finger and its placement on the finger. For example, if the finger circumference at the ring's placement is 51mm and the joint circumference is 53mm, the average of 52mm will correspond to a ring size of 52.

Remember that every body shape is different, that it does not always follow this rule, and that finger size can change quickly with cold and heat.

You can use the following table to help you:

Circumference in mm Diameter in mm
52 16.5
54 17.2
56 17.8
58 18.4

A ring should not be too tight to avoid the risk of injury, nor too loose to avoid the risk of loss.
It is therefore advisable to measure a well-fitting ring that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of your new ring.

Use and care instructions

To preserve the jewelry from premature aging and maintain its shine, MOONSTRA advises you to avoid:

  • exposing it to fresh, salt, or chlorinated water. Remove the jewelry before showering or swimming.
  • exposing it to sand and salt. Remove the jewelry before going to the beach.
  • exposing it directly to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other cosmetic products. Wait for the products to be absorbed by the skin before putting on the jewelry.
  • exposing it to oxidizing products. Remove the jewelry before doing household chores or DIY.
  • exposing it to heavy perspiration. Remove the jewelry before any intense physical activity.
  • keeping it on while sleeping or for manual activities.

To clean and polish the jewelry, MOONSTRA advises you to gently rub it with a soft-bristled brush moistened with water and a mild shampoo or Marseille soap, then rinse it with clear water and finally dry it with a soft cloth.
