Symbolism of the jewel
The name of the jewel is inspired by the goddess Gaïa, goddess of the earth in Greek mythology. Also called mother earth, she is the personification of the earth, making it nourishing to provide men with what they need to live.
The tree of life has many meanings. It is present throughout history in many cultures and beliefs in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and pre-Columbian America.
Among its meanings are the symbolism of knowledge and spiritual goodness among Buddhists, the transmission of divine wisdom among Hindus, the knowledge of good and evil as well as immortality in Islam, Christianity and Judaism, and life, a passage between the world of the living, the dead and the gods among the Celts.
Charged with positive energies, it is a protective symbol, a good luck charm. It symbolizes strength, energy, wisdom, eternity, a connection to the world and to the visible and invisible elements of the universe.
Gold plating is a process steeped in history. This gilding technique has been used throughout the world since antiquity. Formerly a sign of wealth and power, today it conveys elegance.
Choosing your size
Before ordering a ring, check the size that suits you.
To do this, if you do not have a ring sizer, you can measure the circumference of its location on your finger with a thread or a strip of paper, then measure its length with a ruler.
Generally, the ring size corresponds to the average of the size of the finger joint and its location on the finger. For example, if the finger circumference at the ring's location is 51mm and the joint circumference is 53mm, the average of 52mm will correspond to a ring size of 52.
Remember that every morphology is different, that it does not always follow this rule, and that finger size can change quickly with cold and heat.
You can use the following table to help you:
| Circumference in mm | Diameter in mm |
| 52 | 16.5 |
| 54 | 17.2 |
| 56 | 17.8 |
| 58 | 18.4 |
A ring should not be too tight to avoid the risk of injury, nor too loose to avoid the risk of loss.
It is therefore advisable to measure a well-fitting ring that you wear regularly to help you choose the size of your new ring.
